Dr.Umang Patel is an Internal Medicine physician dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care for every patient.
He provides a wide range of primary care services, including the management of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid conditions, diabetes, and both acute and chronic medical concerns. In addition, Dr. Patel offers annual physicals, preventive health screenings, and wellness visits. He has particular expertise in addiction medicine (opioid use disorder treatment with Suboxone) and weight management, helping patients take meaningful steps toward long-term health and well-being.
Dr. Patel received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College, Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, India, and completed residency training at University of Maryland Capital Regional Hospital in Maryland and Soval Health in Virginia. He is affiliated with UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he continues to provide outstanding patient care.
